Ballymena, United Kingdom CSR (NI) LIMITED Full time £40,000 - £80,000 per year

An excellent opportunity exists for a Quantity Surveyor to join a Building Contractor based in Co. Antrim.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be involved on a range of projects to include Education, Commercial & Hospitality projects to the value of £25M.

The ideal Quantity Surveyor will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and a minimum of 3-4 years' experience, ideally within the Building sector. Experience on schools, healthcare, commercial or projects is preferable but not essential.

Other Essential Criteria

  • Sound working knowledge of construction and contract law and various forms of Conditions of Contract
  • Significant knowledge of construction techniques
  • Ability to apply the knowledge and principles of commercial management to construction projects
  • Ability to implement procedures to quantify and cost construction works, including the use of appropriate standard methods of measurement
  • Proficiency in administration, writing, numeracy, IT and MS Office
  • Effective negotiation skills with both internal and external
