About the role: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (DOE) Monday to Friday Performance based bonus scheme Permanent What you'll be doing in this role: Collaborating with project programmers to assess productivity and measured works. Interpreting contracts to assist in mitigating delays and managing commercial risk. Supporting with valuations, variations, and cost assessments. Assisting the proposals team to evaluate risks and opportunities during tender preparation. Preparing and issuing sub-contract tender packages and evaluating tender returns. Attending post-tender and pre-contract meetings. Reviewing contract documentation to protect the company from onerous terms and conditions. Assessing contract risks and working with site teams to develop and manage mitigation strategies. What you'll need for this role: Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, preferably within M&E disciplines. Strong experience in commercial sectors. Proven knowledge of construction projects from pre-construction to handover. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. High attention to detail with a strong understanding of cost management principles. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Proactive, commercially minded, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
