Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants
to support children across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 in a small primary school in Northumberland. This is an excellent opportunity to join supportive environment where every day is different, and your contribution truly makes a difference.

The Role

  • Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups, including those with moderate learning difficulties and dysregulated behaviour.
  • Assist class teachers in planning and delivering engaging, inclusive learning sessions.
  • Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

You Will Need

  • Experience with SEN pupils in a learning environment
  • Previous experience working in a school or educational setting.
  • A caring, resilient and proactive approach.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • A commitment to fulfilling a long term role.
