Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles, including vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly during transit.
  • Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Assist with warehouse tasks such as stock organisation and heavy lifting when required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving procedures.
  • Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle type, including driver certification if applicable.
  • Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £100.00-£130.00 per day
