**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and lorries, in a safe and responsible manner.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured for transport.
- Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transit.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including heavy lifting and organisation of stock.

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. (1 Year Required)
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices. (1 Year Required)
- Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous but not essential. (1 Year Required)
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type being operated is essential. (1 Year Required)

**The Individual**
- Valid UK driver’s license
- Bright, aware and enthusiastic
- Willingness to learn
- Able to demonstrate good communication skills.
- Understand the importance of customer satisfaction.
- Ability to follow and adhere to company procedures and processes.
- Ability to read and follow GPS and other navigational systems
