Duties

• Assist clients in selecting and designing kitchen and wardrobe solutions that meet their needs and preferences
• Conduct in-person consultations to understand customer requirements and provide product recommendations
• Prepare detailed design layouts using CAD or other design software
• Present design options to clients, explaining features, benefits, and customization possibilities
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless order processing and timely delivery
• Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
• Maintain knowledge of current product offerings, industry trends, and competitive products
• Support the showroom by organizing displays and ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors

Skills

Junior Kitchens and Wardrobes Sales Designer

Location: North/West London

Salary: £24,500 to £35,000 per year (experience based)

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Bonus: Performance based bonus or commission available

About Us

Sovran Group delivers premium kitchens, wardrobes and bespoke joinery for residential clients across Greater London. We design, manufacture and install everything in house, offering clients a complete, high quality service. As we expand our interiors division, we are looking for a confident and driven Junior Kitchens and Wardrobes Sales Designer to join our team.

This is a client facing sales and design role with strong earning potential for someone who enjoys speaking with clients, creating functional storage solutions and closing deals.

The Role

Your main responsibility is to convert inquiries into paying clients through professional communication, smart design thinking and accurate pricing. Key duties include:

• Calling new inquiries and booking 4 to 6 consultations per week (site visits, showroom or virtual).
• Tackling design, storage and material challenges on the spot with clients.
• Building trust through confident communication and clear explanations.
• Preparing estimates and pricing projects accurately.
• Bringing clients onboard with deposits and moving them into the production stage.
• Managing projects ranging from £3,000 to £100,000 and above.
• Working with hand sketches and design software to present ideas clearly.
• Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
• Maintain knowledge of current product offerings, industry trends, and competitive products
• Consistently generating £30,000 (initially) to £80,000+(once trained) in sales per month.

• Persuasive and commercially minded with strong follow up habits.
• Detail focused with a good understanding of measurements and layout logic.
• Self motivated, ambitious and comfortable working toward sales targets.
• Previous experience in kitchens, wardrobes or bespoke joinery is a strong bonus.
