Based in Penrith Cumbria, the company offers all construction industry plant, equipment and machinery hire, and compliments this with a construction & civil engineering business in its main-stream business operations.

The Role
Due to increasing commitments and expanding fleet, we now have an opportunity for a HGV Class 1 Driver / HIAB Operator who is looking to progress their career and to join our dedicated team based in Penrith, Cumbria.

What we are ideally looking for and individual who can:

  • Transport equipment from site to site
  • Ensure that agreed quality control procedures are correctly and fully understood and implemented.
  • Ensure correct and safe lifting practices are followed as per approved method statements.
  • Ensuring all relevant lift plans and certificates are in place and up to date.
  • Capable of being hands on.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Remains calm under pressure
  • Dedicated Wagon
  • Must have pride in his truck & appearance.

Experience

  • Driving: 2 years (preferred but not essential)

Licence/Certification

  • HGV Class 1
  • Driver CPC (preferred)

Salary: Competitive
and commensurate with experience
