Yard man/fitter

Yard man (loading shovel, FLT, Class 1 HGV)

Varied role to support site operations and fleet maintenance.

Ideal role for someone who enjoys operating machinery, practical and has an interest/background in mechanics.

Role

· Load vehicles with FLT, JCB and 21ton Hyundai front end loading shovel.

· Class 1 driving - Local deliveries and low loader recoveries

· Collect and deliver units and trailer

· Take vehicles through there MOT (on site authorised testing facility)

· Carry out roller brake tests.

· Wash vehicles

· General site upkeep

· Support Mechanics

Typical working hours - Monday – Fri (07:30 – 05:30). Saturdays are available.

Pay is negotiable depending on experience.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Penrith: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Loading shovel or telehandler: 1 year (preferred)
• Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
• Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
• HGV class1 (CE) driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Category CE Licence (preferred)
