We're partnering with a
global leader in sports trading
, a fast-paced and data-driven organisation, in search of a
proactive, hands-on 3rd Line Support Administrator
to help support and enhance their mission-critical infrastructure.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a
collaborative, IT team
, where you'll play a key role in maintaining, optimising, and scaling the systems that power a technology-led business at the forefront of its industry.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral member of the IT function, you'll ensure the
stability, security, and performance
of the company's infrastructure. Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Managing and maintaining on-site and off-site servers.
  • Monitoring and supporting in-house software applications.
  • Administering
    Active Directory
    and
    Group Policy
    .
  • Managing and troubleshooting
    storage systems
    (NAS and iSCSI).
  • Providing support across the
    Microsoft Windows
    environment.

Technical Experience

To succeed in this role, you'll bring strong, hands-on experience in:

  • System administration in a
    Microsoft Active Directory
    environment.
  • Proven Experience in 3rd Line Support
  • Group Policy
    management and configuration.
  • Virtualisation technologies
    , ideally
    Hyper-V
    .
  • Scripting
    (e.g. PowerShell).
  • Working knowledge of
    SQL
    ,
    HTML
    , and general
    web technologies
    .
  • Experience with
    storage systems
    (NAS, iSCSI).
  • Solid hardware knowledge ideally building or configuring custom machines.
  • Exposure to
    Juniper networking
    (advantageous).
  • Some
    programming
    experience is a plus.
