Overview & Purpose of the Role

As a key member of our commercial team, you'll play a vital role in driving our growth. You'll partner closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams to deliver high-quality support, streamline operations, and help bring new ideas to life. Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the overall Sales, Product Development & Marketing functions.
  • Prospect regions and inactive customers to create interest and opportunities for Mallaghan products.
  • Coordinate with Sales team when opportunities are identified and support handover.
  • Assist in large scope product RFP & RFQ's.
  • Assist with organising customer factory visits (Hotels, lunches, airport transfers etc.)
  • Assist marketing team in organizing shows.
  • Assist with Market Analysis projects & Customer Satisfaction Surveys
  • Build effective working relationships with all other functions at the site and support daily operations.
  • Assist with any other administration duties as required by your manager.
  • Any other duties required by Leadership to suit business needs.
  • You will ensure that all works carried comply with the ISO 9001 Quality management procedures.

Essential

  • Strong work ethic & ability to produce high quality work to a deadline.
  • Attention to detail & meticulous approach to processes & documentation.
  • Strong passion for engineering and innovation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate and build effective relationships with customers and internal departments.
  • Strong IT and Administration skills, including MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong planning and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to be both Pragmatic and Diligent with all general duties.
  • Self-motivated with ability to use initiative.

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a Sales/Aftersales team environment.
  • Experience in a customer facing/interacting role.
  • Experience with IT platforms such as Salesforce & Sharepoint.
  • Knowledge of all, or large variety of Mallaghan equipment, from either Engineering, Production or Servicing perspectives
