Duties

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence and achieving personal goals
  • Implement and follow individualised care plans tailored to each client's needs
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with medication management as required
  • Support clients with meal preparation and dietary requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities when necessary
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for all clients at all times

Skills

  • Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely
  • Experience in providing home care is desirable
  • Knowledge of creating, implementing, and following care plans
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Proficient IN record keeping and documentation purposes
  • Fluency in English is essential for clear communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Organised with good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £24,420.00-£33,457.11 per year
