We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated FEMALE Support Worker in the WORKINHAM/READING area to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in their homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives through personalised support and care.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support clients in maintaining their independence and achieving personal goals
- Implement and follow individualised care plans tailored to each client's needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with medication management as required
- Support clients with meal preparation and dietary requirements
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities when necessary
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all clients at all times
Skills
- Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely
- Experience in providing home care is desirable
- Knowledge of creating, implementing, and following care plans
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Proficient IN record keeping and documentation purposes
- Fluency in English is essential for clear communication
- Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Organised with good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £24,420.00-£33,457.11 per year
