Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. As an Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the assembly of components and products, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the process. This position is well-suited for individuals with previous production assembly experience who are eager to contribute to our production goals.

Duties

  • Assemble components and products according to specifications and drawings.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assembly tasks.
  • Conduct quality checks on assembled items to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Report any defects or issues with materials or equipment to management promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven mechanical knowledge, with the ability to understand technical drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Previous production assembly experience is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
