About the role:
The Knights Retirement Home is looking for a dynamic, friendly and highly capable, full-time Care Assistant to work Days in our care home. We are looking for a person who has experience of working within a care home, domiciliary care or hospital environment and wishes to join the friendly team at The Knights Retirement Home.

Job Purpose
About you:
To be passionate about working within the Health and Social Care Sector particularly within a caring environment with a passion for supporting people who live with Dementia.
To be friendly, outgoing and energetic with a keen eye for detail. To be trustworthy, caring and reliable at all times.
You will be required to support people with all aspects of their daily lives, this will include, but is not limited to, support with:
- Interests and activities
- Mobilising and transferring
- Personal care
- Continence care
- Diet and nutrition
You will ideally have a relevant Health and Social Care qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 and be able to evidence this, however full training would be given to the right candidate.
About us:
We are a Residential Care Home located in the bustling seaside town of St Anne's On The Sea. We are registered for up to 31 ladies and gentlemen and are currently rated by the Care Quality Commission as GOOD overall.
The home is a friendly and relaxed environment and we put a big emphasis on the food that we serve. We pride ourselves as being part of the community and provide excellent person-centered care to older ladies and gentlemen.

**Whilst we are ideally looking for a candidate with previous experience of working in a care home or similar environment, we are looking for the right candidate and are willing to offer training and support to that person if we feel that they will be perfect for the home (qualifications and/or experience dependent).**
