Vice President , Client Relationship Management

LOCATION

Senior Vice President

JOB PURPOSE:

This role is a Vice President level opportunity in the Global Client Group at Brookfield Asset Management with the focus being to support the senior client relationship managers ("CRMs") to develop and maintain the firm's institutional relationships, driv e high-impact engagement, and raise capital , with a specific focus on institutional investors in Southeast Asia .

The Vice President will work across all asset classes that Brookfield specializes in (Real Estate, Infrastructure, Renewables, Private Equity , Private Credit ) and stretch across all parts of client origination, fund marketing activities, client prospect due diligence and ongoing relationship management .

The responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Originate new institutional client relationships

  • Research prospect list and implement targeted outreach strategies

  • Identify and engage new client accounts

  • Market Brookfield's private market solutions

  • Originate capital-raising opportunities

  • Present investment offerings and support client pitches

  • Support the full fundraising lifecycle

  • Manage existing institutional investor relationships

  • Deliver high- quality relationship management and client servicing

  • Strategically d eepen and expand existing relationships

  • Actively pursue re-up and cross-over opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, or a related field, with a strong academic record

  • Postgraduate qualification in finance (e.g., CFA, MBA, CA/CPA) is a plus

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, with a strong preference for exposure to alternative investments such as real estate, infrastructure, private equity, or private credit.
  • Ideally looking for an Investor who has gone into client relationship management.

  • Proven experience in supporting the full fundraising lifecycle , from initial engagement and relationship-building through to successful close

  • Demonstrated ability to lead investor meetings and identify capital - raising opportunities

  • S olid understanding of corporate valuations, competitive landscape and the strategic positioning of private market strategies

KEY COMPETENCIES/BEHAVIOURS REQUIRED:

  • Fluency in English ; proficiency in additional languages is a plus

  • Strong investment and financial analytical capabilities with investment reporting experience

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) ; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus

  • A collaborative team player with positive attitude and proactive approach to work

  • Strong ability to build relationships and develop a robust internal and external network

  • Proa ctively seeks opportunities to contribute to more challenging projects

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced and team-oriented environment

  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and creative problem-solving ability

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation development and delivery

  • Self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail
