Job Description

The salary for this role is £27,202. Onsite working is expected for 4 days a week, however, we actively support requests for flexible working. 

This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) , including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions and possibly a search of open source data. 

The Role

We're looking for a proactive and organised Administrator to join the Tritium Fuel Cycle (TFC) Division, providing timely and efficient administrative support across the division, including to the Training, Development and Recruitment (TDR) Team, which sits within TFC. 

You'll be part of a collaborative team of administrators working across both areas, so the ability to work well with others, adapt to changing priorities, multitask effectively, and manage your own time is essential. This role involves supporting the delivery of training programmes, development initiatives, and recruitment activities, alongside general administrative duties across the division. 

This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work across two key areas: 

  • General administrative support for the wider TFC Division – including tasks such as processing travel requests, supporting procurement activities, and handling onboarding administration. 
  • Administrative support for the Training, Development and Recruitment (TDR) Team – assisting with recruitment administration, managing training bookings, and maintaining competency and skills matrix records. 

You'll play a key role in ensuring that both divisional administrative activities run smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is confident managing multiple priorities, and thrives in a supportive team environment. 

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor training and outreach requests working with the TDR team to facilitate and schedule training sessions efficiently. 
  • Maintain and update accurate records and databases (E.g Training, APS, Recruitment, Evaluation and Outreach spreadsheets, SharePoint, ARM Risk Register, Info Asset Register, Form 70) 
  • Represent and promote TFC's innovative offerings and technical specialisms both internally and externally (E.g Attend careers fairs with another member of the TDR team, check in delegates for courses) 
Qualifications

Essential Requirements: 

  • Previous demonstrable administrative experience 
  • Able to demonstrate discrete and professional approach 
  • Good IT skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Proven ability to cope with multiple tasks and prioritise appropriately
