Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with safety standards and building codes.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialised tools to complete tasks accurately.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify faults or potential issues.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installations or repairs.
• Read technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise installation or repair work.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to ensure project specifications are met efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience in plumbing, with additional skills in welding, carpentry, or mechanical knowledge considered advantageous.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques relevant to plumbing tasks.
• Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical diagrams.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
• Valid commercial driving licence is desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in plumbing or related trades are preferred but not essential depending on experience level.
