As South West Police Hosting Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting complex infrastructure support across the entire Devon & Cornwall Police and Dorset Police estate, ensuring service excellence for critical public sector clients. By building strong relationships and delivering to high expectations, you'll help maintain trust and long-term partnerships. Your work directly supports BT's position as a leading provider by enabling the smooth introduction of new products and services that meet evolving customer needs.

Please note you must either hold or be eligible for NPPV 3 for this role, which will require a minimum of 5 years working history in the UK to be eligible.
What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering high-quality service to customers in line with contractual obligations, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, changes, and problems.
  • Validating Service Designs and product specifications to confirm they can be delivered by Managed Services in a scalable, robust, and cost-effective way.
  • Collaborating with Service Delivery and Transition Managers to ensure new business and service designs are implemented right first time.
  • Leading and managing a service operation team, and supporting the 24/7 shift team - maintaining strong engagement and ensuring consistent, high-level service delivery.
  • Owning team development and training plans, eliminating single points of failure and ensuring continuous coverage and capability across all key activities.

What We'd Like To See On Your CV

  • Demonstrated experience in customer relationship and stakeholder management, with the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders and represent services confidently during incidents, reviews, and changes.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, including the ability to assess and triage complex issues, support resolution implementation, and apply logical thinking in high-pressure environments.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, capable of setting clear strategic direction, aligning teams, and motivating them to deliver against shared goals.
  • Solid understanding of business performance drivers and ITIL4 practices, with experience owning and managing ITIL processes, including training, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to change, with a strong sense of accountability, integrity, and the ability to make well-evaluated decisions in dynamic environments.

This role offers a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week.
