The Role

As a Corporation Tax Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, providing expert tax advice, ensuring compliance, and managing a team of tax professionals. You will work closely with clients to deliver tailored solutions, review complex computations, and support business growth.

Your responsibilities as the Corporation Tax Manager will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns for a range of clients, including companies, partnerships, and groups.
  • Acting as a trusted adviser to clients on corporate tax matters and business planning.
  • Managing tax compliance deadlines and ensuring accuracy across all deliverables.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work and providing guidance.
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting clients in achieving tax efficiency.
  • Liaising with HMRC and external advisers as required.
  • Supporting process improvements and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of UK tax legislation.

To be considered for this Corporation Tax Manager role, you will have/be:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant corporation tax experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporation tax legislation and compliance.
  • Proven experience managing client relationships and leading junior staff.
  • Confident in explaining complex tax matters clearly to clients.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail oriented.
