Job Description

Aesthetic Pharmacy Dispenser / Supervisor

This position will give you the opportunity to not only learn but grow develop and take ownership of the pharmacy itself in the long-term.

The pharmacy is internet based and located in a warehouse. Please be aware that this is not a patient facing role.

You will need to have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and may currently be or have previous experience of working as a Pharmacy Advisor (Dispensing Assistant) to join us.

This is a very exciting opportunity where you will be able to work directly with one of the owners. Reliability, responsibility and hardworking are some of the main attributes we seek.

For the right candidate, we will invest in them to have them work up to a technician and eventually an ACT.

But it isn't just about experience or knowledge, we're looking for people with a genuine passion for customer care and who will be ambassadors for healthcare and our products offering impartial advise and support through the process. You will have the ability to build strong relationships with customers and your team and will be able to understand individual customer needs and tailor your support and advice appropriately. You will have the ability to advise clients with confidence and accuracy whilst remaining customer focused.

Your duties will include:

  • Tailoring conversations with every customer to ensure they feel informed and confident about their requirements.
  • Delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines e.g. ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
  • Complying with legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice
  • Delivering efficient dispensary operations and ensuring dispensing losses are minimised.

To work in our Pharmacy, you also need to have completed a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent.
