Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef De Partie to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and cooking, with a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a CDP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality meals to our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management as needed.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a chef is essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is required.
  • Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures is advantageous.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting are essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £ per hour dependent on experience & generous Tronc share on top

Expected hours: 35-48 per week

Additional pay:

  • Tronc & Gratuties
  • 2 Weekly Pay
  • £100 signing bonus for succesful candidate passing 3 month probation period
