The Opportunity

Applications for the John Rowan and Partners Graduate Development Scheme are now open

John Rowan and Partners are looking for our next intake of Graduates to join our 2025 cohort within a range of disciplines including; Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying and Project Management roles.

To be considered for the Programme, you will need to have the following:

Qualifications

  • A RICS recognised undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
  • Enroute to achieving a minimum 2:1 final grade (must be fulfilled for contract to be confirmed)
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • A strong desire to progress in the construction industry and work towards passing your APC

Experience, Knowledge And Understanding

  • Good general knowledge of current affairs that affect the construction industry
  • Previous work experience (work placements or part time job)
  • Involvement in university and/or community life
  • Strong IT skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

In addition to the above, we are seeking graduates who can demonstrate the following

  • Positive attitude and a pro-active, flexible approach
  • An ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Confidence
  • Excellent team working skills with the ability to build relationships with others at all levels
  • An ability to use own initiative and manage workload efficiently
  • Effective decision making and leadership potential
