Our client, based in Somerset, is currently recruiting for a Compliance Manager on a 3 month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The daily rate for this role is £370 per day, paid via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in property compliance, as well as working knowledge of Building Safety.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading compliance across fire, asbestos, legionella, lifts, electrical, gas, and other regulatory services
  • Ensuring compliance surveys and inspections are completed on time and to the required quality standards
  • Managing fire safety across properties, implementing recommendations from audits, FRAs, and best practice guidance
  • Maintaining accurate compliance records and reporting systems, performing validation checks, and generating monthly performance reports
  • Leading responses to internal and external queries regarding compliance performance
  • Supporting policy renewal, auditing Standard Operating Procedures, and ensuring all "big 6" compliance areas are monitored and non-compliance is addressed.
  • Managing internal and external audits and ensuring recommendations are implemented effectively.
  • Using data proactively to identify risks and implement preventative measures.
  • Line managing compliance data leads and coordinators, ensuring accuracy and promoting best practice in data handling

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experience working with the 'Big 6'
