Intelligence & MI Business Partner
We're looking for an Intelligence & MI Analyst who's got a strong governance and control mindset to help ensure that Distribution operates within a trusted, well-managed, and compliant intelligence environment. You'll be essential in strengthening our Intelligence and MI foundations, providing the oversight, structure, and stewardship needed for accurate reporting, confident decision-making, and disciplined performance management.
You'll lead the development of a controlled, transparent, and well-governed intelligence ecosystem, making sure that all insights used across Sales and Account Management are consistent, credible, and aligned with regulatory and enterprise standards. This position is perfect for someone who combines technical skills with a solid understanding of governance, intelligence controls, and insight integrity, translating these into practical, business-ready solutions that support Distribution to operate confidently and effectively.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead governance, accuracy, and integrity of all intelligence across Distribution, establishing frameworks, controls, and standards to ensure reliable, compliant decision-making.
- Act as the accountable steward for insight in Sales and Account Management, ensuring alignment with enterprise policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Design, build, and maintain MI platforms, dashboards, and datasets that provide clear, trustworthy insights into performance, activity, and client opportunities.
- Shape future intelligence architecture, ensuring automation, traceability, and auditability of data flows, models, and datasets aligned with a strong control environment.
- Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into well-governed analytical solutions, leading the development and implementation of MI tools supporting strategic goals.
- Promote a culture of controlled self-service by delivering dashboards and tools that enable teams to access and use MI independently and responsibly.
- Own the production of regulated and compliance-related intelligence outputs, ensuring accuracy, validation, auditability, and regulatory adherence.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on intelligence governance and best practices, providing guidance and ensuring high standards of intelligence literacy across Distribution.
Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we're able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you're interested in joining us at AXA, please don't hesitate to apply.
What you'll bring:
- Proven BI capability with strong Power BI and Tableau skills, including designing intuitive and scalable dashboards.
- Strong data handling skills, confidently working with structured datasets, models, and ETL processes.
- Practical CRM expertise, particularly with Salesforce or similar systems, including reporting and data structures.
- Experience supporting Sales, Account Management, or Distribution through MI and performance reporting.
- Data governance mindset, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and credible controls across all outputs.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills, translating data into clear insights and influencing non-technical audiences.
- Experience building self-service tools and training users to access and interpret MI independently.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance reporting, maintaining audit-ready documentation and controls.
- Problem-solving approach, capable of transforming business questions into practical, scalable analytical solutions.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
