Sales Director – DataCentres (UK) Location: UKLanguagesrequired: English AsSales Director (UK), you will be responsible for the leadership, management andprofitability of assigned multi -tenant data centre and hyperscale / cloudcustomers and strategic channel partners to increase sales and margin of the company'sproducts and / or services. You will be accountable for achieving sales andprofitability goals through direction, organisation, coordination,communication and development of sales in the UK. Awide degree of creativity and latitude is required. You will engage with alllevels of customer organisations including Technical, Operations, Supply Chainand Executive Management. This position may develop and deliver sales bids,presentations, proposals and / or product demonstrations. Responsibilities ·       Sell a diverse rangeof data centre solutions and services across the UK, including: Structuredcabling and accessories Physicalsecurity solutions Electricalsolutions High -densityliquid cooling and power solutions Networkingsolutions IoTsolutions Pro -AVsolutions·       Position the company'sservices for design, end -to -end project deployment, product enhancement andrack & roll·       Build partnershipsacross company business units and work internally as part of a fast -paced Salesteam·       Develop businesspartner relations with the company's strategic vendors / alliance partners toenhance value -add sales and project identification·       Ensure customersatisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolveany post -sale issues·       Utilise salesmanagement tools for sales planning, supplier planning and documentingopportunities·       Understandcompetitive landscape and market insights; communicate effectively with keystakeholders·       Develop andadminister sales plans to ensure customer satisfaction, quota attainment and skilled,motivated staff·       Achieve annual salesand profit goals by implementing strategies and analysing trends with the regionaland business unit Management team·       Forecast sales volumeand profit for existing and new products and customers·       Establish and expandnational, regional and local supplier relationships·       Maintain salesvolume, product mix and pricing by staying current with market trends andcompetitors·       Maintain professionaland technical knowledge through workshops, publications and professionalsocieties·       Forecast andcommunicate details to Senior Management Qualificationsand Skills Required ·       High School Degree orEquivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business Administration,Engineering or a relevant field preferred·       7+ years of relatedindustry professional sales·       5+ years ofexperience leading and managing staff and programs at national, district orregional level·       Working knowledge ofbusiness and management principles, including strategic planning, resourceallocation, leadership techniques and coordination of people and resources·       Demonstrated abilityto analyse, initiate and implement sales strategies to achieve forecasted goals·       Understand the competitivelandscape, market insights and effectively communicate across key internal andexternal stakeholders·       Proven success in providingcustomer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meetingquality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction·       Strong verbal,written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills·       Ability to exerciseteamwork, leadership and flexibility·       Excellent timemanagement and computer skills·       Ability to travel: 25% -50% WorkingEnvironment Workis generally performed in an office environment, but the employee may need totravel to customer sites or warehouse facilities. Driving may be required foran extended period of time with frequent stops and starts. Can be exposed tooutdoor weather conditions.
