We are currently seeking an exceptional
Optical Engineer
to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on groundbreaking optical technologies, contribute to innovative projects, and be part of a company that values creativity, collaboration, and technical excellence.

The Role

We're looking for an ambitious
Optical Engineer (PhD or equivalent experience)
who's excited to work at the edge of possibility.

You'll be part of a small, fast-moving, and deeply technical team developing
next-generation optical systems
for AR/VR headsets, HUDs, and novel display architectures.

What You'll Do

  • Design, simulate, and prototype
    novel optical components and imaging systems
    .
  • Run hands-on
    table-top optical experiments
    and translate theory into functional prototypes.
  • Work closely with
    world-class partners
    in industry and academia to push the limits of performance.
  • Contribute directly to
    patentable inventions
    and next-generation product architectures.
  • Shape a
    new optical design paradigm
    for the spatial-computing era.

What You'll Bring

Essential:

  • Strong understanding of
    geometrical and physical optics
    .
  • Practical experience in
    experimental optics
    and laboratory setups.
  • Proficiency with
    Ansys Zemax
    , or equivalent optical simulation tools.
  • Degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field (PhD preferred, Master's considered).

Desirable:

  • Experience with
    head-mounted displays (HMDs)
    or
    head-up displays (HUDs)
    .
  • Familiarity with
    free-space optics
    .
  • Enthusiasm for working in a
    start-up environment
    , where ideas rapidly turn into impact.
