This post sits within a supportive leadership team that are dedicated to ongoing learning, improvement, and development.
The successful candidate will have operational management and supervision responsibilities of a specific locality-based Health Visiting Team and will provide leadership, support and guidance to staff in the delivery of the service to the children and families within the caseload of that area.
You will work closely with the Lead Nurse to evidence and meet both local and national priorities and drive team developments.
Candidates must have experience delivering complex Health Visiting practice and have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. You will also be required to demonstrate proven leadership skills and be proactive, creative, and innovative in your approach.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the NMC Register and be registered on Sub-part 3 with a Special Health Visiting or Public Health qualification.
