A Strategic Leadership Role Shaping the Future of Regional MEP Delivery

An opportunity for an experienced
MEP Director
to lead regional strategy, guide complex project delivery, and strengthen relationships with key clients. This role combines technical depth, commercial leadership and the ability to influence across multi-disciplinary teams.

The Opportunity

You'll play a central role in setting the region's direction and ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering outcomes across a portfolio of large and complex projects. Beyond project oversight, you'll help shape business performance, support key bids, and develop a high-performing team capable of meeting long-term growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain strong client relationships, driving repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Provide strategic leadership for the region, contributing to business planning and wider organisational direction
  • Lead bid strategies, tender submissions and major appointment negotiations
  • Oversee and guide delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects
  • Manage resources, commercial performance and financial outcomes
  • Supply senior technical oversight on high-profile or sensitive schemes
  • Lead recruitment activity and develop team capability to meet future demands
  • Mentor senior engineers and support the development of future leaders

What You Need

  • Chartered engineer with substantial MEP project delivery experience
  • Strong technical foundation in electrical engineering with excellent multi-disciplinary awareness
  • Consultancy background, or a blend of consultancy and contracting experience
  • Proven commercial judgement and confidence in leading complex projects
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage challenging relationships
  • Strong communication, planning and organisational skills
  • Track record of leading profitable teams and supporting regional or business growth
