Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As part of our bar team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a memorable experience through excellent service and quality food and beverages.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks.
  • Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including equipment and utensils.
  • Provide attentive service to guests, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Supervise junior staff members, offering guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage team dynamics effectively, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
  • Culinary experience or food production knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential.
  • Experience in supervising staff or team management is preferred.
  • A background in hospitality or hotel experience will be beneficial.
  • Barista experience is an added advantage but not mandatory.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive under pressure are essential traits for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
