Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a variety of settings, ensuring that all areas are well-presented and welcoming. This role is essential in providing an exceptional experience for our guests and residents, contributing to the overall hospitality environment.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, communal areas, and facilities to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
  • Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to ensure all surfaces are spotless.
  • Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas as needed.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
  • Assist with laundry duties when necessary to support the overall operations.

Skills

  • Previous hotel experience is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of hospitality standards.
  • Proven janitorial experience that demonstrates attention to detail and efficiency in cleaning practices.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while working independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, fostering positive interactions with guests and colleagues alike.
