Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and attentive Control Room Operator to oversee and monitor operational activities within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining smooth operations by accurately managing data entry, communicating effectively with team members, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Fluent in English to facilitate communication across diverse teams. This role offers an opportunity to develop strong analysis skills and contribute to operational excellence.

Duties

  • Monitor and control operational processes via central control systems, ensuring efficiency and safety.
  • Perform precise data entry related to operational metrics, incident reports, and system logs.
  • Communicate clearly with team members using professional phone etiquette, providing updates and addressing queries.
  • Analyse operational data to identify trends, potential issues, or areas for improvement.
  • Assist with upselling opportunities by engaging with clients or visitors professionally when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities within the control room environment.
  • Respond promptly to alarms or system alerts, coordinating necessary actions with relevant departments.
  • Support training of new staff on control room procedures and systems as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a control room or similar environment is preferred.
  • Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish; bilingual proficiency is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse operational data effectively.
  • Good phone etiquette and professional demeanour when interacting with clients or team members.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
  • Organised, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in upselling or customer engagement is a plus but not essential. This position offers an engaging environment where attention to detail, communication skills, and analytical thinking are valued highly for successful performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.70 per hour
