A great opportunity has become available for someone who is interested in working in property. This role is varied and with give an apprentice the opportunity to work within a busy estate agent environment. At Thomas Harvey, we pride ourselves on being one of the few truly independent family run estate agents in the West Midlands & South Staffordshire whilst being one of the longest serving agents in the area having been established for over forty five years. We have built a strong reputation in providing an excellent standard of service.The role involves dealing with all aspects of office support, including answering calls and dealing with clients taking information and details for enquiry. This role is varied and with give an apprentice the opportunity to work within a busy estate agent environment. Also as potential customer will go into the office it is important to have the ability to make good eye contact and make the customer feel welcome on arrival.Duties include:Taking calls - MessagesMeet and greetUpdating database with client detailsTaking information correctly / taking enquiry detailsChecking paperwork is scanned to electronic filesHelping customers with general enquiresUploading property photos on to the systemData management and file checks shadowing staff in the office to gain an understanding of the roleChecking personnel information on files is correctChecking availability of appointments and assisting staff with diary management helping with general admin duties learning all aspects of working in a estate agent environment Requirements Desired skills Excellent verbal and written communicationBe computer literateAbility to use own initiativeOrganisational SkillsPersonal qualities Assertive and have a high level of energyCommitted to the roleGood communication skills and ability to communicate with colleagues and clientsDriven and a quick thinker Desired qualifications Good standard of general education to GCSE level (or equivalent) to include GCSE in English and Maths at Grade C or above IT qualification Is desirable.
