Role Overview
The Content Lead is a pivotal role that drives the creative and operational aspects of a single flagship football focused video podcast at Fellas Studios. This position is responsible for shaping the vision and execution of the podcast, ensuring it not only aligns with but also advances the studio's mission to innovate and amplify diverse voices. The Content Lead will manage the entire podcast lifecycle from concept development and talent acquisition to final production and distribution, ensuring each episode delivers maximum impact and maintains the highest production values.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Content Development:
Spearhead the creative direction and content strategy for the designated podcast. Generate and refine show concepts, themes, and formats to enhance viewer engagement and align with strategic objectives.
- Project Management:
Oversee all production phases from pre-production planning, scheduling, and budgeting to post-production editing and distribution. Ensure timelines are met and productions stay within budget.
- Talent Management:
Help scout, select, and manage talent, including hosts, guests, and contributors whilst maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Client and Brand Partnerships:
Help build and maintain relationships with sponsors and brand partners. Work with Campaigns to develop branded content that integrates sponsors' goals while maintaining the integrity of the podcast.
- Technical Oversight:
Manage the technical setup for recording sessions, including sound, lighting, and video quality control.
- Editing and Post-Production:
Oversee the editing process to ensure that the final product is polished and aligns with Fellas Studios' standards. Manage the distribution of episodes across various platforms, optimising for reach and impact.
- Feedback and Analytics:
Monitor audience feedback and podcast performance metrics. Utilise insights to make informed decisions for future episodes and strategic adjustments.
- Live Streaming:
will be required to regularly manage live streams around football fixtures outside of office hours.
- Social Media:
Manage and upload social content related to the podcast across relevant platforms, ensuring timely posting around football news cycles.
Requirements:
- Ability to confidently interact with colleagues at all levels and with key talent and contributors.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to use own initiative and to prioritise.
- Practical, organised and meticulous with a logical approach to work.
- Resilient and flexible.
- Excellent computer skills and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Confidence, assertiveness and decisiveness.
- Forward thinking and ability to plan ahead to ensure the best level of service.
- Show integrity in dealing with confidential information and material
- Must have an extensive interest in football and be prepared to work evenings, weekends, and live streams in line with football schedules.
Creative:
- A genuine interest in the social media, culture, and the podcast industry.
- Understands other points of view and changes their own approach or stance to suit the needs of the situation.
- Proactive nature with the ability to pre-empt issues, taking appropriate steps and escalation when required.
- An excellent knowledge of the ever growing TikTok & YouTube space, with an understanding of YouTube analytics as a perk.
Collaborative:
- Able to work harmoniously in a team.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Develops effective relationships with colleagues in other areas of the business, who can assist you in achieving goals.
Salary
£40,000 - £50,000 base salary depending on experience, plus a generous commission available, disclosed in the interview stage.
