Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BIM Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and ensuring that all projects are executed with precision and efficiency. The BIM Manager will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to facilitate effective communication and project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of BIM strategies across various projects.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure adherence to BIM standards and protocols.
  • Manage the integration of various software tools including SketchUp, NavisWorks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks into the design process.
  • Oversee the creation of detailed schematics and drafting documents to support project requirements.
  • Facilitate training sessions for team members on BIM software and best practices.
  • Conduct regular reviews of project models to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance workflow efficiency through innovative BIM solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technology to continuously improve processes.

Skills

  • Proficiency in BIM software tools such as SketchUp, NavisWorks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and construction methodologies.
  • Experience in creating detailed schematics and drafting using CAD technologies.
  • Ability to produce high-quality 2D animations for project presentations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
