Our client is one of the UK's leading workplace design and build specialists, delivering exceptional commercial environments for major global brands. With offices in both London and Surrey, the company combines creative design, technical expertise, and precise delivery to bring workplaces to life.
They are now seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join their growing technical team. This is a pivotal role supporting the integration and management of BIM processes across all stages of workplace interior fit-out projects.
About the Role
The BIM Manager will oversee the implementation, development, and coordination of BIM standards and workflows across multiple commercial projects. Working closely with design, technical, and project delivery teams, this role ensures data integrity, model accuracy, and collaboration across disciplines.
This is a hybrid position, working between the company's London and Surrey offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) aligned with project and client requirements.
- Oversee and maintain company BIM standards in accordance with ISO 19650.
- Manage project models, templates, and content libraries to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary models and lead clash detection and resolution processes.
- Support design and delivery teams with technical BIM input and best practice guidance.
- Conduct model reviews and ensure BIM deliverables meet project milestones.
- Provide training and mentoring to internal staff to enhance company-wide BIM capability.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth data exchange and workflow integration.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM processes, tools, and technology adoption.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a BIM coordination or management role within the commercial interiors or fit-out sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of interior construction and detailing.
- Expert user of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Experience working with BIM 360, ACC, or other collaborative project platforms.
- Proven experience producing and managing BIM deliverables in line with ISO 19650 standards.
- Confident communicator able to lead coordination meetings and work across multidisciplinary teams.
- Highly organised with a proactive approach to problem-solving and workflow optimisation.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Architecture, Interior Design, or Construction.
- BIM Level 2 / ISO 19650 accreditation or similar certification advantageous.
