The Role

We are looking for a competent and experienced Fabricator / Welder to join a busy and well-established engineering company based in Redditch. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to secure long-term employment with a fast-growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MIG welding and fabrication of the companies range of products, including but not limited to; Trailers, carts and storage stands.
  • Welding / Fabrication using box section and sheet metal
  • Use of hand tools and fabrication machinery
  • Quality-checking finished work
  • Working independently and as part of a team to meet production targets
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in MIG welding and fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Use of hand-tools, power-tools and fabrication machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work independent and with others
  • Pro-active and dedicated approach to work
  • Spoken English language and communication

UK driving license and forklift license would be beneficial but are not necessary.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30 and 08:00 to 13:30 on Friday
