Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in mechanical and electrical systems, although not essential. This role is crucial for ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to our overall productivity and operational excellence.

Duties

  • Manage and coordinate all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, including preventive maintenance programmes to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any technical challenges that arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment performance metrics.

Skills

  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Ability to analyse problems critically and develop innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £16.80 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
