About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Domiciliary Care Manager to lead our Nottingham-based home care service. You will oversee daily operations, ensure CQC compliance, and drive continuous improvement while leading a dedicated team including the Deputy Manager, Coordinators, and Care Staff. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with a passion for high-quality care, operational excellence, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across all areas of domiciliary care delivery.
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and lead on inspections and quality audits.
  • Manage, mentor, and support the Deputy Manager and wider care team.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, supervision, and professional development of staff.
  • Maintain high standards of person-centred care planning, risk assessment, and service delivery.
  • Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring all safeguarding practices are followed.
  • Manage budgets, monitor performance, and support business growth initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement through audits, feedback, and quality assurance frameworks.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, families, professionals, and external agencies.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager within domiciliary or social care.
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and quality management.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing inspections, audits, and staff performance.
  • Ability to oversee budgets and service development.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Health & Social Care (or willingness to complete).
  • Enhanced DBS required.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable).
