Far & Wild Travel is a specialist tour operator based in London and Penrith in the Lake District. We organise tailormade holidays worldwide, using a mix of expertise, passion and attention to detail, to make sure every holiday is special. Our team has over 100 years of combined experience in the travel sector, and all our experts travel each year to ensure we remain at the forefront when it comes to new experiences, hotel openings and responsible travel. Despite this, we remain a small dynamic team with a fun and flexible approach to everything we do. Over half the holidays we arrange are to repeat customers or directly from their referrals. We think this speaks volumes of our success in making every holiday special.

Role Description

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Travel Co-ordinator to join our small team of travel experts based in London. The right candidate has the potential to get involved in other areas of the business including marketing, sales and website development. The role comes with a generous basic salary, monthly commission opportunities, inclusion in annual company incentives (which in recent years have included trips to Kenya and Zambia) and discounted holidays.

  • High degree of proficiency in word and excel, and ability to learn and efficiently use multiple inhouse software apps

  • Passion for travel with genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service

  • Buy-in to Far & Wilds vision and values. [Making our holidays sustainable, as well as special, is a core aspect of all we do. We run multiple initiatives throughout the business that put this into action, and are members of 1% for the Planet.]

To apply.

Send CV and covering letter to detailing why you are suited to the role to "HR Manager". Only applications with a covering letter will be considered.

Application question(s):

  • The busiest period for this role is over the summer so whilst there isn't a 'no holiday policy' for this time, they need to be carefully planned and managed. Would this work for you as a busy period?
  • Please note that only applicants with a cover letter will be considered.
