About the role

BaptistCare is one of Australia's largest home care providers and a leader in service quality and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist PT (minimum 3 days/week) or FT, to join our growing team in the Central Coast and surrounding area.  
 
You will deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care. Your work will help older people maintain or regain independence, mobility, and confidence to remain living at home.

About you 

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration 
  • Demonstrated ability to assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community  
  • Post graduate experience working with in a variety of aged care services, including rehabilitation and community settings  
  • Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models 
  • Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Demonstrated computer literacy  
  • Alignment with BaptistCare's values and mission 
  • Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain   
  • Unrestricted driver's licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance.
