Due to the countryside location, having your own transport, bike, or driving license is essential.
The role of Kitchen Porter:
- Keeping the kitchen spotless by washing and storing dishes, pots, and utensils.
- Assisting chefs with simple prep tasks like chopping and assembling ingredients.
- Ensuring all kitchen areas are clean and hygienic.
- Helping out during busy service times by fetching and delivering items.
- Following health and safety guidelines to keep the team safe.
- Supporting stock rotation and helping reduce waste.
The ideal Kitchen Porter:
- Experience in hospitality or kitchens is a bonus, but not required.
- A strong work ethic and ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
- Interest in food and a willingness to learn.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
