Then we have a fantastic opportunity available to join the team as Head of Premium.

The NEC Group is a multi-award-winning catering business with over 40 years of experience, operating at various venues including its' home sites at the NEC, ICC, VOX, Regional Venues as well as Utilita Arena Birmingham and BP Pulse Live where you'll be based.

Utilita Arena Birmingham & BP Pulse Live are listed within the top 5 of Arenas across the UK. They both have a capacity of 15,500 along with suite, lounges, and balconies for our Premium guests.

Our hospitality suites and lounges are known as Premium which is currently undergoing a 4-million-pound refurbishment and we are looking for an experienced person, skilled in delivering 5-star service to our guests ensuring they have a great customer experience when they visit our Arenas.

In This Role You Will Be Expected To

• Develop the right long- and short-term commercial strategy for F&B within Premium, incorporating exceptional customer experience on events days. To increase & promote non-event days and billed sales creating additional revenue in these lines.
• Maximise the commercial performance in line with the overall premium plan across the Arenas, including F&B.
• Grow revenue with our non-event day business and billed sales.
• Execute a great customer experience for our Premium guests by creating a Premium operations team.
• Oversee the delivery of the F&B operation across the Premium ensuring it's innovative, right for the consumer, consistency of product whilst ensuring we achieve our contribution target.
• Manage the teams against agreed KPIs for every event, ensuring the customer experience is the best it can be.
• Key account manager for billed events we drive revenue in our billed sales whilst offering the customer a great overall experience.
• Ensure all areas meet health & safety standards, comply with licensing policies and law.
• Coach Managers and other team members to achieve their KPIs and maintain high standards across the business.
• Manage the Premium Arena F&B budget to deliver contribution growth.
• Manage all operational cost lines – ensuring a well-controlled cost operation with good financial sustainability.
• Monitor performance, identify cost saving opportunities, and implement effective financial controls.
• A flexible approach is a must as hours & days can vary each week depending on the nature and volume of the business, hours will include weekends, bank holiday and evenings, but we are dedicated to finding a flexible approach that works for you.
