General Manager: Discobowl Newport

We're on the lookout for an experienced General Manager to lead our lively family entertainment centre in Newport. With bowling, mini gold, karaoke, arcade games, great food and drinks, and a mix of family fun and late-night entertainment, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a centre packed with potential.

About Us:

We're an independent company that's making big changes and investing heavily in the site to create something special. We're small enough for you to make your mark but big enough to offer plenty of opportunities for growth.

With a strong support management team already in place, we're looking for someone who's excited to take the lead, help us shape the future of the site, and create a brilliant experience for our customers.

The Role:

We're after someone who's confident, hands-on, and has solid experience in leisure and family entertainment, particularly in bowing or similar. This is your chance to lead a site that's on the up, get stuck into every part of the business, and be part of a team that's going places.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading the team to deliver great service and happy customers.
  • Running the day-to-day operations, including bowling, arcade games, and food and drinks.
  • Driving sales, keeping on top of stock, and managing costs.
  • Making sure everything's clean, safe, and running smoothly.
  • Balancing family-friendly and late-night vibes to appeal to everyone.

What We're Looking For:

  • Someone with solid experience managing in leisure or family entertainment (a must).
  • A confident and hands-on leader who's great with teams.
  • Someone who can juggle lots of tasks and still keep high standards.
  • A personal licence holder would be great, but it's not a dealbreaker.
  • Most importantly, someone who's ready to make a difference, drive growth, and be part of a close-knit, independent team.
