About us

Net Zero Careers (NZC) is committed to advancing careers that make a meaningful impact on environmental sustainability and the green economy. We work with business across London to create real opportunities for skilled workers for a range of net zero aligned projects.

Do you want to connect local communities to great careers, and give businesses the people they need to tackle climate change?

We combine tech-enabled support with in-person delivery to connect local communities to good work, across a range of net zero sectors, with a particular focus on construction. We work with partners from Local Authorities, Housing Associations and developers, to educators, corporates and business networks.

We're growing fast, and looking for a talented and motivated Business engagement and partnerships manager to join our team. You will be driving forward some of the most ambitious and impactful employment programmes in the UK, with a particular focus on construction, green skills and the wider built environment. We're open to a range of experience levels.

You'll be part of a purpose driven team that cares about the communities and people we serve, as well as playing our part in tackling climate change - and allows you to be yourself, develop your skills and have fun.

  • Community partners: engaging with community partners including community groups, employability providers, voluntary/community sector organisations to promote available roles and training
  • Client Relationship Management: build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs, providing tailored recruitment solutions, and offering market insights;particularly in construction and green skills. Work closely with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to manage partnerships and align delivery.
  • Candidate onboarding: delivering sessions to job seekers at education and community partners to support them to understand roles available, requirements and sharing insights for successful applications.
