As the UK Events Liaison Coordinator, you will play a key role in the delivery of Hagerty's UK events programme. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running and execution of Hagerty Hangouts, Hagerty Drivers Club events, and external exhibitions, ensuring both logistics and content are delivered to a high standard.

Additionally, the Events Liaison Coordinator will act as the main point of contact for Hagerty's three flagship events — Hagerty Hill Climb, Festival of the Unexceptional, and RADwood — working closely with an appointed external events agency. While the agency will lead on logistics, content, and marketing, the Events Liaison Coordinator will provide essential support, ensuring objectives, briefs, budgets, and timelines are met, and responses to agency requests are delivered promptly.

What you'll do
  • KEY OBJECTIVES:
    • Support the Senior Manager, UK Marketing & Membership in the delivery of Hagerty's events programme.
    • Manage the execution of Hagerty Hangouts, Hagerty Drivers Club events, and external exhibitions.
    • Act as the key liaison between Hagerty and the external events agency for flagship events, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery.
    • Ensure all event briefs, objectives, budgets, and timelines are communicated clearly and achieved successfully.
    • Represent Hagerty as a consistent and professional point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute Hagerty Hangouts, Hagerty Drivers Club events, and external exhibitions, ensuring alignment with brand values and objectives.
  • Work closely with the external events agency on flagship events (Hagerty Hill Climb, Festival of the Unexceptional, and RADwood), ensuring timely communication, accurate briefing, and budget adherence.
  • Provide operational support during live events, including set-up, on-the-day management, and debriefs.
  • Attend Hagerty owned events to ensure thorough evaluation and learning for future improvements.
  • Attend competitor and industry events as required, to support market research, benchmarking, and networking opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed records of event plans, budgets, supplier agreements, and performance reports.
  • Ensure consistent and professional communication with stakeholders, exhibitors, venues, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Support post-event evaluation, producing reports to measure success against agreed objectives and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Uphold Hagerty's brand identity across all events, ensuring a high-quality experience for participants and attendees.
This might describe you
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising between internal teams and external partners.
  • Proven experience in event coordination, preferably within an automotive, lifestyle, or membership-based organisation.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure during live events.
  • Budget management experience, with strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
  • Passion for classic and enthusiast cars is highly desirable.
Other things to note
  • This position can be worked remotely within the United Kingdom.
  • Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations. Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.
