Senior HR Business Partner

  • Based in Wellingborough (Northamptonshire) or Wednesbury (West Midlands)
  • Permanent
  • Hybrid working offered once relationships have been built however regular travel will be required for this role
  • Paying up to £110k plus benefits

**The ideal candidate will have worked within a large business, circa 10k-15k employees**

Leading a team of 4 HR Business Partners, this is an opportunity to be a key HR leader in a respected, growing business with opportunities for long-term progression.

Key responsibilities of the Senior HR Business Partner:

  • Partner with senior leaders to deliver the people strategy across multiple sites
  • Coach and develop operational managers and leadership teams
  • Lead workforce planning, organisational design, and talent development
  • Manage complex employee and industrial relations, including pay negotiations and union engagement
  • Champion culture, safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement
  • Provide HR insights to drive performance and workforce productivity
  • Lead and develop an operations-aligned HR team

Key requirements of the Senior HR Business Partner:

  • Proven Senior HRBP experience in a heavily operational business, e.g. manufacturing, industrial, or logistics environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership coaching skills
  • Experienced in complex ER, IR, and union negotiations
  • Strategic, data-driven, and resilient, with a hands-on approach
  • Experience of managing and developing teams
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent)
  • Happy to travel across UK sites
