We're now looking for an energetic and creative Internal Sales & Marketing Representative to join our growing team. This varied role combines proactive sales activity with hands-on marketing support — perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, promoting great products, and contributing ideas to help our brand grow.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Support

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial horticultural growers, garden centres, landscapers, and sub distributors, focusing on commercial horticultural sundries.
  • Handle inbound enquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up on leads.
  • Support the external sales team with order processing and account management.
  • Identify new business opportunities and help drive customer growth.

Marketing & Promotion

  • Assist with developing and delivering marketing campaigns, newsletters, and product promotions.
  • Help manage company social media channels and website content, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence.
  • Create and update marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and email campaigns.
  • Gather customer feedback and market insights to support product development and campaign planning.
  • Contribute ideas for events, trade shows, and seasonal promotions.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in internal sales, customer service, or account management — ideally within horticulture, agriculture, or a related industry.
  • A genuine interest in plants, growing, and the commercial aspects of the horticultural trade.
  • A strong interest in learning the business side of commercial plant production, both on a physical production and business level.
  • Basic marketing experience (social media, email campaigns, or content creation) would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, Canva, or similar).
  • Organised, creative, and proactive with a can-do attitude.
  • Comfortable using a telephone.
