Pay: £12.70 per hour + £12.21 paid travel time + 35p/mile mileage

Contract: Permanent | Full-Time or Part-Time

Shifts: 07:00–15:00 and/or 15:00–22:30 | Includes weekends & bank holidays

Driving essential – your own car is required

We're looking for caring, responsible Community Support Care Assistants to join our team, visiting individuals across Bridgend and Porthcawl to help them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

What the Role Involves

You'll provide a range of support tailored to each person's needs, including:

• Personal care such as washing, dressing, or toileting
• Preparing meals, offering drinks, and monitoring nutrition
• Helping with mobility, safe movement, or medication prompts
• Providing companionship and emotional reassurance
• Recording visit notes accurately and professionally

You'll work independently in the community, with full support from our management and on-call teams.

What We're Looking For

A warm, patient, and respectful approach

A full UK driving licence and access to your own car (essential)

Previous care experience (required)

Willingness to work alternate weekends as part of the rota

Reliability, good timekeeping, and strong communication skills

What You'll Receive

Paid travel time at £12.21 per hour

Mileage allowance – 35p per mile
