ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Our client is a trusted delivery partner within the UK Defence sector, supporting complex infrastructure, asset and facilities management programmes nationwide. Their teams play a vital role in maintaining secure Defence sites and enabling the smooth operation of critical national capabilities. Due to continued growth within their Defence portfolio, they are seeking an experienced
Quantity Surveyor
to join their High Wycombe team.

THE QUANTITY SURVEYOR ROLE:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will deliver commercial oversight and financial management across a portfolio of Defence projects, ensuring compliance, value and efficiency throughout the contract lifecycle.

You will:

  • Lead the commercial and financial performance of assigned projects and regional workstreams
  • Prepare tenders, evaluate quotations and manage supplier engagement
  • Develop and maintain project Risk Registers
  • Support project teams to ensure all commercial objectives are met
  • Provide clear data for reporting commercial performance and supporting decision-making
  • Ensure all contract deliverables and reporting requirements are met in a timely manner

QUANTITY SURVEYOR ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
  • Proven experience in a commercial or Quantity Surveying role, ideally within Defence, Construction or Infrastructure
  • Experience with NRM submissions and pricing
  • Strong understanding of risk management and cost planning
  • Must hold current DV clearance or recently held DV clearance
  • UK
