Your New Role

Working on a hybrid basis with 2-3 days per week in the office, you will be a key member of the Trade Compliance team, ensuring the business adheres to international trade laws and regulations across the UK, EU, and US. You will support licensing processes, customs transactions, and due diligence activities, while acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders.Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing export licence applications and compliance records
  • Processing import/export transactions and customs documentation
  • Supporting HMRC audits and regulatory queries
  • Liaising with freight forwarders and customs brokers

Advising project teams on trade compliance procedures and standards

What You'll Need to Succeed

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong grasp of international trade regulations and a passion for compliance. Essential qualifications and experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in trade compliance, customs, or export control
  • Solid understanding of UK/EU export regulations
  • Proven experience in UK export licensing and customs compliance
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
