Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team as Student Support Coordinators. Responsibilities

  • Provide academic support and encouragement to performing arts service users/students
  • Assist Core Production Team in preparing learning materials and resources
  • Support students in sessions
  • Prepare and revise Awareness Sheets
  • Interview students on individual needs
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes student confidence and motivation
  • Participate in organising educational activities, workshops, or events
  • Offer one-on-one or group mentoring sessions as required
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold the organisation's safeguarding policies

Skills

  • Experience or interest in teaching or tutoring is useful
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students of diverse backgrounds
  • Organised, reliable, and able to manage time efficiently
  • Compassionate with a genuine interest in supporting student development
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and programmes
